Vera started singing barbershop in high school and has been a Sweet Adeline for 3 years. In addition to singing with and directing GRC, Vera sings Lead with "REV'L!" - a brand new Sweet Adelines quartet. She also sang Tenor with "Shades of Jade" (3-time regional champion quartet) at the Sweet Adelines International Competition in Baltimore, Maryland, in November, 2014.

Vera proudly wears her 1st and 2nd place regional medals that she won with GRC, and a fifth place medal from the SAI 2012 Rising Star Competition. She made her directorial debut on the regional stage in Winston-Salem, VA, in March and directed GRC on the international stage for the first time in Baltimore, 2014.

Now that she has graduated, Vera plans to "hopefully get some kind of job, maybe teaching"  - and GRC hopes that it is some where in the Richmond area.
